Salam,everyone !
Strategic management from islamic perspective was the last
chapter for strategic management and operational. Sadly to said, I can’t have
my lecture notes because of some failure application but no worries I find
another lecture notes from UIAM and I will share with all of you.
Management from islamic perspectives is an approach emerging
discipline. To manage the organization we need a knowledge from revealed
sources. It must be applied with beliefs and practices.
Sources of knowledge for islamic perspective :
First,Primary revealed knowledge sources is the Holy
Al-Quran.
second, basic sources elaborated through hadis :the tradition, the sunah, the
action of the prophet (SAW)
third, islamic scholar who treat fiqh and the science of islamic
jurispundences.
forth, reported saying & action of the first four caliphs ; sayidina abu
bakar (RA), sayidina umar al-khattab, sayidina uthman affan, and sayidina ali
abi talib.
Paradigm guiding management
of organizations is no demarcation between the secular and the religious;human
life is an organic whole; All human activity can be Ibadah provided they are
guided by Allah’s commandments
Purpose of human existence dictating management of
organizations is to obey and fulfill Allah’s commandments and act as the
vice-regent of Allah on earth
Purpose of organization Organizations are meant to be groups
of people who coming together for attaining the purpose of human existence
Nature of organizational objectives are both economic and
non-economic and are subservient to larger purpose of human existence
Source of ethics and values governing management of organizations
is the revealed knowledge and the traditions of the Prophet (SAAS) constitute
the ultimate source of business ethics and personal values.
Organizational Control Organizational control has to operate
in a way designed to make the human being subservient to the will of Allah
Locus of control is internal. Each person is responsible and
accountable for his actions
Organizational responsibility and accountability depends on
human being has choice, free will and freedom of action therefore is
responsible and accountable for all actions.

As a muslim, we need to find we we can do to show and
attract people for knowing more about islam. Islam is more an action religion
and it has their own beauty to revealed if you want to find. insya-Allah. May ALLAH Ease everything.
